Meet Our Team:
Laurie O’Brien – Managing Director
Laurie has been operating as a
Finance Intermediary since 1985. He continued in finance after 16
years in banking. Laurie has also worked for a major Australian
accounting firm and holds qualifications in Financial Management
from Kuringai College of Advanced Education. Laurie's experience in
equipment finance, home and investment loans and commercial finance
gives him a unique insight into the under-writing procedures of
lenders and enables him to judge each finance application from their
perspective. Very much a family and community minded person, Laurie
supports home owners by ensuring they get the right mortgage loan
and that small business are supported by lenders with the best
products and interest rates. Laurie enjoys working within the local
community where business and his clients all prosper together. |

Simon
Wilby – Accredited Mortgage Consultant
Simon brings to Bridgecoast a high level of financial expertise. His
studies in economics, accounting and commercial law, plus his
experience in the finance and insurance industry since 1984, has
equipped him well to handle a diverse array of finance enquires. In
addition Simon’s sales and marketing background and excellent people
skills enables him to implement a wealth of knowledge to all aspects
of finance - from residential and investment loans to re-financing,
commercial and business loans. Simon is passionate about helping
people achieve their financial goals. His number one priority is
being able to find the right solution for each individual client, no
matter the circumstances. As an Accredited Mortgage Consultant and a
member of the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia.

Marie O'Brien - Director / Accounts Manager
Marie has been married to Lauire for 18 years and has worked
for Bridgecoast Fianance as their Director and Accounts Manager for
the past ten years. Marie's background in teaching has become a
valuable asset to the company as the years have progressed. Marie
enjoys working in the business and gets satisfaction knowing that
the company has helped many people achieve their financial goals.

Jo-Anne Young -
Executive Support Officer
Jo-Anne commenced a career in the finance industry in 1993 when she
joined the ANZ Banking Group. She quickly progressed through their
wholly owned subsidiary Esanda, where she worked as a Senior
Customer Service Officer and later moved on to become a Dealer and
Broker Support Officer. Jo-Anne joined Bridgecoast in early 2007.
Her ability to communicate verbal and written reports makes her an
asset in our Loan Settlements Department. Her problem solving skills
matched with her skills in supervising and administration makes her
a worthwhile acquisition to the Bridgecoast Finance Group.
